SENIOR DESIGNER

The main objective of this role will be to design, introduce new products and opportunities with emphasis on alternatives beyond flexible films. The role contributes to the strategic development of the company in new markets, considering modern trends and the requirements of legislation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for the design and implementation of projects related to packaging alternatives, beyond stretch film products.
  • Introduces new ideas for the development of products and services in the field of alternative packaging, contributing to the company's innovation.
  • Participates in the formulation of pricing policy, marketing strategy and commercial planning for new products within his field of responsibility.
  • Monitors market trends and evaluates competitive products (both technical and commercial), in cooperation with the Market Analyst, ensuring timely information to all relevant parties.
  • Performs or manages additional duties and responsibilities assigned to him by the Director of Management, according to the needs of the company

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE SHOULD HAVE

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (preferably Mechanical, Chemical) or Materials Science engineering 
  • Knowledge of Materials / Polymer Technology 
  • 3-5 years of professional experience in the plastics industry or related field. Desirable experience in the packaging industry in R&D position.
  • Excellent Knowledge of English. Knowledge of German or other second language will be considered a plus.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support Division Managers in business process improvements, implementing best practices and fully utilizing ERP systems capabilities.
  • Monitor, Identify and record ERP issues.
  • Support end users with their day-to-day workflow and execute corrective actions when necessary.
  • Build reports using Microsoft Power BI.
  • Communicate, and manage relationships with suppliers and internal clients.
  • Prioritize tasks. 

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE SHOULD HAVE

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Finance, Business or any other equivalent
  • 3+ years experience in a similar position in the manufacturing industry (ideally ERP Consultant) including at least one full system implementation life cycle.
  • Hands on knowledge of:
    • Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations preferably in the Supply Chain module.
    • Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales CRM.
    • Microsoft Power BI ecosystem.
  • Excellent knowledge of English.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Keen attention to detail.
  • Good organization, time management and prioritization.Must possess a strong work ethic, be self-motivated and reliable.

To Develop, motivate and manage distributors and Key accounts in the sales area of his/her responsibility, to drive sales volumes & revenue and to achieve the profitability targets.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identify, develop, motivate and manage a network of Distributors for the sales area of his responsibility.
  • Initiate, develop and follow up the Key Accounts for the sales area of his responsibility.
  • Coordinate and evaluate the training of the distributors in ORO.
  • Establishes, maintains and manages superior customer relationships with Distributors and key account at senior management levels to deliver profitable, sustainable & long-term relationships.
  • Analyzes, reviews and updates the segmentation of distributors & key account based on factors that are directly related to the approved Sales Strategy
  • Implements all actions regarding the development of detailed sales forecasting, as well as the evaluation and refinement of demand planning figures
  • Develop and propose to the Commercial Development Director, the annual budget and the Sales and Marketing strategy for the sales area of his/her responsibility
  • Supports the Commercial Development Director in the development of pricing policies for geographies, markets & industries that the Group currently operates, based on the Group’s commercial strategy
  • Able to understand key business drivers and to identify long and short-term market penetration opportunities. Monitors competition and trends on all the geographies & industries under his/her jurisdiction and provides input to the Commercial Development Director
  • Collaborates with the Digital Marketing, Branding & Communication to identify promotional, marketing & market penetration actions (such as participation in events, exhibitions, conferences, digital marketing actions, etc).
  • Ensures the entry of relevant data / information in the CRM to enhance dissemination & utilization of information. Continuously records & updates Distributors and key accounts data & information, related to progress status, trial/visit reports, promotional & business development activities, for both existing & new customers
  • Monitors key performance indicators regarding commercial targets, performance, service level quality, accuracy & client satisfaction compared to the desired target / level per case
  • Communicates & resolves administrative – oriented issues, provides input in the development and re-design of processes in collaboration with the Business Process Manager
  • Implements, manages, and provides support ad-hoc to any other requests from the Commercial Development Director as requested

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Market and Competition Analysis: Collection, processing and analysis of data concerning the packaging market and competition.
  • Monitoring market trends, technological developments, and customer needs.
  • Create comparative analyses of competitive products, services and strategies.
  • Preparation of reports that support the company's decision-making.
  • Processing and analysis of the Company's Product test results: Participation in the process of testing the use of new and existing products in collaboration with the R&D and Commercial teams.
  • Analysis of the use of the company's products in the market.
  • Provide conclusions and suggestions for optimizing products and enhancing their competitiveness.
  • Document and present findings using charts and other data analysis tools.
  • Market Research: Monitoring and gathering information from the wider market of existing or new products (New business) 
  • Interpretation of new trends, technologies and regulations - legislation affecting the flexible packaging industry.
  • Inform R&D teams and senior management about opportunities and challenges related to the results of the analyses. 
  • Support of Management Projects and Managers through participation in the management and monitoring of R&D Directorate projects.
  • Support of Management Managers with the preparation of reports, analyses and presentation of data.

THE IDEAL PROFILE SHOULD HAVE

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing or related subject
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in market analysis, project management, or in an R&D role, ideally in the plastics or packaging industry.
  • Analytics Skills: Experience using data analysis tools such as Power BI, or SPSS.
  • Industry Knowledge [desirable]: Understanding the plastics and flexible packaging industry. 
  • Experience in recycling technologies and sustainable solutions will be appreciated.
  • Excellent knowledge of English, written and spoken. Knowledge of a second language, such as French, Italian or German will be considered an asse
