MEGAPLAST'S PATENT INFRINGEMENT CASE

In 31 December 2020, MEGA PLAST Industrilal – Exporting S.A. filed a lawsuit against OXIFILM S.L. on the grounds of ES2366871(EP1989044) patent right infringement.

We believe that MEGA PLAST enjoys the exclusive rights for perforated packaging films as claimed in EP1989044, whereas third parties are prohibited from selling or offering for sale products making use of the subject matter of EP1989044 without our consent (see Art 64 (3) European Patent Convention).
