The main objective of this role will be to design, introduce new products and opportunities with emphasis on alternatives beyond flexible films. The role contributes to the strategic development of the company in new markets, considering modern trends and the requirements of legislation.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE SHOULD HAVE

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (preferably Mechanical, Chemical) or Materials Science engineering
  • Knowledge of Materials / Polymer Technology
  • 3-5 years of professional experience in the plastics industry or related field. Desirable experience in the packaging industry in R&D position.
  • Excellent Knowledge of English. Knowledge of German or other second language will be considered a plus.
  • Extroversion - Possibility of frequent trips
  • Analytical thinking, innovation and creativity
  • Adaptability and result orientation

To focus on the accountable and proactive execution of assigned projects, aligning priorities and objectives to the organisation’s needs.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support Division Managers in business process improvements, implementing best practices and fully utilizing ERP systems capabilities.
  • Monitor, Identify and record ERP issues.
  • Support end users with their day-to-day workflow and execute corrective actions when necessary.
  • Build reports using Microsoft Power BI.
  • Communicate, and manage relationships with suppliers and internal clients.
  • Prioritise tasks. 

To Develop, motivate and manage distributors and Key accounts in the sales area of his/her responsibility, to drive sales volumes & revenue and to achieve the profitability targets.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identify, develop, motivate and manage a network of Distributors for the sales area of his responsibility.
  • Initiate, develop and follow up the Key Accounts for the sales area of his responsibility.
  • Coordinate and evaluate the training of the distributors in ORO.
  • Establishes, maintains and manages superior customer relationships with Distributors and key account at senior management levels to deliver profitable, sustainable & long-term relationships.

Collect, analyze and present data on the market, competition and technological developments to support strategic decision-making. Contributes to the improvement of products, the enhancement of competitiveness and the development of new business opportunities, through project management, collaboration with multiple teams and provision of timely information to management.

THE IDEAL PROFILE SHOULD HAVE

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing or related subject
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in market analysis, project management, or in an R&D role, ideally in the plastics or packaging industry.
  • Analytics Skills: Experience using data analysis tools such as Power BI, or SPSS.
  • Industry Knowledge [desirable]: Understanding the plastics and flexible packaging industry.
  • Experience in recycling technologies and sustainable solutions will be appreciated.
  • Excellent knowledge of English, written and spoken.
  • Knowledge of a second language, such as French, Italian or German, will be considered an asset
